We organise a number of short hair and beauty courses. These courses are focused more on productive leisure than on vocational training and development.

Introduction to Beauty

An introduction to beauty therapy where young people explore the practical benefits of facial treatments, manicures and nail art. All participants are given information and advice on the use of appropriate products for the treatments taught.

• Age groups: 13-16 and 16-19

Introduction to Hairdressing

An introduction to hairdressing salon practices, including salon health and safety, shampooing, blow drying and sectioning techniques. Participants also learn about the structure of hair, PH scale, the growth cycle of hair and the use of appropriate products for the treatments taught.
